I'm a doctoral candidate in Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. My research focuses on the intersection of labor markets, health, and family dynamics, with a specific interest in how history, culture, social norms, and institutions shape economic development. I employ applied microeconomic methods to study how violence, social norms, and institutional structures affect health outcomes and women's labor supply. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Loyola College, Chennai, and a Master’s degree from the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.
Beyond academia, I enjoy reading non-fiction, experimenting with new recipes, and participating in quizzes. I’m also passionate about travel and fitness. I maintain an alternate space where we discuss topics beyond research.
